Australian Camp, Annapurna, and Sarangkot Hiking is an awesome way of endeavouring beauty of three beautiful locations in the Annapurna region of Nepal namely – Pokhara, Australian base camp, and Sarangkot. Pokhara is a lively city full of natural fame and adventurous whirl. It is a touristic hub and a gateway to the Annapurna region of Nepal. Each year many tourists visit Nepal just to visit Pokhara owing to its serene and captivating beauty. This beautiful city has some serene lakes embedded in it.
The outstanding views of mountains in the Annapurna range like Annapurna Himal and Macchapucchre Himal append to the magnificence of this place. Similarly, Australian Base Camp is a beautiful location on a hill-top that offers some stunning views of mountains in the Annapurna massif. You can enjoy the views of Annapurna South, Macchapucchre Himal, Hiunchuli Himal, and Lamjung Himal as you explore the viewpoint at Australian Camp.
Likewise, Sarangkot is another beautiful location that lies just above the Pokhara valley and offers some incredible views of Pokhara city and mountains in the Annapurna range. Australian Camp and Sarankot Hiking is a short hiking journey that lets you admire the magnificence of places like Pokhara, Sarangkot and Australian Camp. it is an awe-inspiring pleasing way of getting blessed with the awe-inspiring views of mountains and getting close to the natural fantasy of the Annapurna region of Nepal. The ethnic settlements, villages, people and their lifestyle, everything about this place is pleasing and appealing.
Annapurna Base Camp and Sarangkot Hiking start from the picturesque city of Pokhara. From Pokhara, we take a short drive to Phedi and start walking along the foothills of Annapurna to Australian Camp. We pass Dhampus village enjoying the lush landscape, villages, and farmlands in the backdrop of the beautiful Himalayas. We further walk through the forests of rhododendron and oak to Pothana from where we walk up the stone paved staircases to Australian Base Camp.
After enjoying the views of mountains and countryside landscape from the base camp, we descend down a forested area to Sarangkot. At Sarangkot, we can admire the views of mesmerizing sunrise and sunset. We can also try any adventure activities if we like on our own. In the evening, we return back to Pokhara and end our Australian Camp and Sarangkot Hiking.
