Gokyo Lakes and Everest Base Camp Trek

Unreal experience! I opted for the longer trek as I wanted to see as much as possible in the time I had. I'm so glad I did.
My wonderful Guide Prem Karki and my assistant guide Lukpa were sensational! We laughed so much on the trek, with these 2 guiding us there was never a dull moment. Our success in reaching the Lakes and Everest Base Camp Trek are purely down to their hard work and dedication. Plus I was lucky enough to meet another 6 legends who also opted for this unreal trek. We are now all the best of mates.

The trekking was hard at times and and some days were super easy. We had rain, snow, sunshine and everything in between. Each day we witnessed another insanely beautiful mountain and watched the landscape change the higher we went.
The Gokyo Lakes were stunning, I'm so glad we opted for this trek. The pictures attached are unfiltered!

Everest Base Camp was great! Such an amazing feeling to finally get there. We just sat and took it all in. Photos don't do it justice.
All the villages and places we stayed along the way were awesome! These tiny lodges and tea houses in the middle of the mountains were so cosy and the food is delicious. We met quite a few Sherpas who had summited Everest and we spoke to them at length about their expedition. Great bed time stories :)
Do yourself a favour and get on board this trek, you wont regret it!
Thank you Nepal Intrepid Treks for our wonderful trip to Nepal.

Amazing experience in Trekking with Nepal Intrepid Treks

I trekked to the Annapurna Circuit with Nepal Intrepid Treks and everything went smoothly from the time of pick up to the time of drop off at the Airport. All throughout the trek, I had no issues and no worries. I just needed to focus on my awesome journey in the beautiful Himalayas. My guide Deepak was amazing and he was very reliable and trustworthy which I think is the most essential when we are trekking. I know I am in safe hands trekking with Nepal Intrepid Treks.

This is my second time trekking to Tilicho Lake Annapurna Circuit Trek with them and would definitely always do the trek with them as well in the future. This company focuses on the whole customer experience and is very customer orientated. They are honest, reliable, and if there were things going wrong, they would somehow fix it as mush as possible although it isn't their fault so that the trip is enjoyed in full by us. A guide is important to either make your trip experience a good one or not a very good one, thus if your getting one, better to get an honest and reputable one.

There were some people I met on the trek that complained about their trekking company but I had none as mine was perfect in all ways. I would highly recommend this company Nepal Intrepid Treks as they really care and show an interest in their clients happiness. Also I never waited for pick up, drop off, all was punctual and all was on a timely manner. I got all that I requested for and I had an Awesome experience in Nepal with my Guide Deepak and his team. Thanks for everything and keep up the good work!!

Thanks Nepal Intrepid Treks and hoping to see you guys again soon.

Want a truly authentic Nepal trekking experience

“If you want a truly authentic Nepal trekking experience, then doing it with Independent Trekking Guide Cooperative is the best way to go. Headed up by Jagat Lama, this company takes a genuine interest in helping your trek be the journey of a lifetime. I have trekked with Jagat’s company twice and visited his home region of Kumari  to deliver aid after the earthquake in 2015. Seeing how much he gives back to the community he came from is inspiring and knowing that a portion of the trekking fee goes to support health and education projects there keeps me wanting to travel with him on all my future trips to Nepal.

I came down with a bad bronchial infection while trekking in the Langtang region in November 2018. The guides looked after me, even carried some of my gear, making it possible to reach our destination of Holy Gosainkunda Lake. I come to Nepal for the mountains but the best memories I take home are the moments of laughter and sharing the journey with Jagat and his guides.”

And we also have the personally Nepal language teacher to teach me some and also we knew many Nepalese culture, tradition and lifestyle. Best Trekking Company in Nepal

100% Mera Peak Summit Success with 100% Best Trekking Company in Nepal!!!

Wow what a journey with three fab friends all the way to the summit of Mera Peak! It was so hard, so cold, so high but oh so beautiful and the highlight of all the Treks I had undertaken before in the world, which was made possible with our amazing trekking guide and company owner of Nepal Intrepid Treks - Lal Gurung.

My sixth visit to Nepal of which I had completed one trek previously with Lal (ABC) when he hiked with another company. Now having opened his own trek agency he has gone next level with his genuine warm, honest, and personalised service. With a 6000m Peak new territory for us all we had so many questions in the lead up which was great as Lal has a number of clients who had previously summited Mera. I even was introduced to one of his past Aussie clients so I could get the trekker to trekker advice and he too couldn't have spoken any higher of his successful Mera Peak Summit with Lal the year before. My friends had not been to high altitude before so Lal was brilliant and oh so patient in putting together the perfect itinerary for acclimatisation to see all four of us Summit and hike for the full 14 day program. We were the only group around our time to have all of the team Summit with most others not making it to the top or helicoptering out post Summit from exhaustion. But Lal and our kind and beautiful two porters kept us fighting fit the whole way and we finished in style - girl power! We could see how proud they were as we formed a family of seven over our two weeks together. Lal had made it clear, he was getting us to the top! Every meal it was 'eat more' never worried about the cost to him, his mission clear - he is successful if we are successful. It was tough love on Summit day (we also had a climbing guide with us and one of our porters wanted to Summit with us as well as Lal) but we knew we were his priority at every step. They are the best trekking company in Nepal.

When the hike finished his job didn't. We celebrated over wine at our fave Lukla tea house (he had called ahead to make sure they had some in stock after our success!) and when we got stuck in Lukla for two days post trek and waiting in the airport Lal bounded in with food he had run back to the teahouse to get for us, always with his trademark humble smile. When we finally left Lukla, he arranged at short notice every detail for our trip to Pokhara, with his little bro to greet us at the airport when we flew back in. The list goes on surrounding his magic. I can only say if you are heading to Nepal and want to be assured of an amazing trip as we were blessed with use this company. Lal and his partners who we had the opportunity to meet are three guys trekking since their late teens, officially registered and insured (many will just say they are), who know how to make stuff happen and most importantly act with integrity. They handpick their guides and porters if they are not able to take the trek themselves, and you can see the two way respect between him and his team (our porter gave Lal the biggest hug when we left Lukla which had us girls in tears like our Summit did!). The big company guys have to use whichever guides are available due to volume.

Thank you so much Lal and your team, you guys are really awesome and looking forward to see you soon again for my next hike to beautiful country Nepal.

Mera Peak Climbing and 100% success Rate!!!

Are you Planning to go to Mera Peak Climbing?

This was my first trip to Nepal, and thanks to Lal Gurung the Managing Director of Nepal Intrepid Treks and Expedition Pvt. Ltd. as well as professional Adventure mountain guide and his amazing team, climbing Mera Peak was an awesome experience. Our group of 4 had a 100% success rate, when a lot of other travelers we met along the way, did not make it to the top. So they are the most cheerful and trustworthy people in Nepal for hiking in Himalayas.

Nothing was a problem for Lal, we had lost luggage and bad weather delays – which meant he had to reschedule accommodation/flights several times for us. He was so gracious, professional, and incredibly helpful every step of the way (literally!). Both him and our two incredible porters, really made our trip, going above and beyond on so many occasions. They are really awesome people and we are so grateful for their help for Mera Peak Climbing.

Summit day was tough, but the support of Lal and his team – helped us all get through and make it to the top!
We made it !!! Yes !!!

Lal always made us feel safe, supported and that nothing was a problem – and there was always a smile on his face. I would absolutely recommend trekking with Nepal Intrepid Treks and Expedition, I’m so grateful for the experience, and can’t wait for my next adventure with Lal and his team. We are already thing about our next trip to Nepal with Lal and Nepal Intrepid Treks and Expedition Pvt. Ltd.

Thank you all.

Namaste!

100% Mera Peak Summit Success Rate!!!

I owe our success in reaching the Mera Peak summit safely to our amazing guide Lal and his amazing team of porters! We were a team of four women and we had a 100% summit success rate.

Lal went above and beyond from Day 1 when I missed my connecting flight to Kathmandu from Guangzhou due to bad weather in China. I finally arrived in Kathmandu late at night, tired and stressed out about my bags since it did not make my flight. As soon as Lal found out that I made it to Kathmandu, he made it to the airport in a flash, waiting to pick me up and take me to the hotel with a warm smile and a big welcome - and this was really late at night! When my airline failed to get my bag in time for the trek, Lal organised my luggage to arrive in Lukla before I even made it to Lukla! My luggage had all my gear and summit clothing, without this luggage I could not have started the trek and Mera Peak climbing. It was a huge relief seeing my luggage and it was all thanks to Lal and his efficiency for getting my luggage in time. There would have been no other way.

This was my first time doing a multi day trek, let alone climbing a mountain, I was nervous but Lal made sure I enjoyed the trek and most importantly I was safe. Lal and his team made sure it was their priority to make sure we were well prepared, safe, looked after and most importantly we all make it to the top. Little things like telling us to slow down while ascending to make sure we don't get altitude sickness, while other groups sped in front of us and did not make the summit because they were sick, making sure we were all well fed so that we had all the energy to endure the full 13 days, giving us water when we ran out of our own and believing in us all added up to our successful Mera Peak summit! His porter team Bupendra and Tula Raj all took turns to lead the party and helped us to carry our gear.

Every morning we would wake up and see their smiley faces ready to start the day trekking, while they were getting ready to carry our 50kg bags in tough terrain. Without hesitation, Lal and his porter team always offered a hand when us ladies weren't comfortable going down a steep hill and believe me the passes were insane! They made the trip much more enjoyable and memorable as we all had our funny and scary moments together.

Mera Peak Summit day was unbelievably the hardest and craziest day of my life! One to remember for the rest of our lives but we couldn't have made it without his team, his positivity and his patience. It took us 6 hours to reach the summit and Lal was with us every step of the way - feeding us snacks, opening our water bottles so that we can drink, carried our back packs to putting our polarised sunglasses on our faces to protect us from the sun. His team absolutely went above and beyond! Making the summit was an epic experience and to do it with a team that we grew closely with, who supported and believed in us made the experience even more special.

Lal and his team were always looking out for us and I could not be more grateful. We were constantly surrounded by positive attitude the whole way up and the whole way down, even after our summit day.

Although, we successfully summited and made it to Lukla, Lal did not stop working. Leaving Lukla was such a mess and super stressful as I had an international flight to make. Lal was always alert, always on call to see if there was an available seat for me on any of the outgoing flights.

Lal is honest and professional and I would definitely choose Nepal Intrepid Treks again. What an incredible ascent. I will never forget this trip. Until then my friend!

Mera Peak and more to go!

This is my second trip with Nepal Intrepid Treks and first attempt to climb Mera Peak. Going higher than the Everest Base Camp Trek (EBC) was obviously a challenge, but Lal and his team helped me in every way they could. Professional - they ensured I stayed safe and healthy, feeling focused and confident throughout the climb. I have learned a lot from them and want to thank them for taking me around in the mountains. It was really awesome trip with Nepal Intrepid Treks.

Thank you so much Nepal Intrepid Treks, Lal and his team.

Will be back soon!

Nepal Intrepid Treks such an amazing

This is the first time in Nepal and it was really awesome in every-way.
The first overseas mountaineering hiking chose the well-planned Annapurna Base Camp Trek. Thanks to God for giving us the blue sky and white clouds, so that we can enjoy the mountaineering fun. Thanks to the Nepal Intrepid Treks, the our brilliant guides Kamal Gurung, Ganga Gurung, Nishan Gurung and the hard and enthusiastic porter, I really recommend the excellent service of the Nepal Intrepid Treks team, so that I can dream, leave beautiful memories, look forward to A meeting, looking forward to the next trip to Nepal! 😊

Awesome Mardi Himal Trek with Nepal Intrepid Treks!

Mardi Himal Trek is a hiking route with a high CP value. It is also a route that has risen in Nepal in recent years. Through the virgin forest at an altitude of more than 2,000 meters, you can enjoy the pure natural and forest bath, and you can also look forward to Annapurna Base Camp (ABC). A number of famous towns along the way, overlooking the occasional famous mountains (Fishtail Peak, Annapurna South Peak, Dhaulagiri, Manaslu), after more than 3,000 meters above sea level, the extension is the Nepalese national flower The azalea bushes can be imagined as the mountains and flowers in April are lined with distant snow-capped mountains. It will be a beautiful sight! Then walked and began to accelerate the respite, not only the altitude is getting higher, the air is getting thinner, and the irritating feeling of walking on the narrow holy line makes the adrenaline surge, but you don’t care about the shortness of breath or exhaustion. The painful footsteps, because the beauty in front of the eyes makes people feel like being in paradise. It is called the hell under the feet and the paradise of the eyes. Although we reached the highest point of 4,200m on the same day, the fog was so dense that we could not appreciate the most magnificent and vast fishtail peaks. Mardi Himal Trek make give me such joyful and unforgettable moments in my life.

The big scene I saw along the way was enough for me to be amazing. Such a great route, of course, must have the best team leadership, thanks to the Nepal Intrepid Treks and Expedition team led by Mr. Lal, high-quality professional services, plus high-value pleasing, great management, let us enjoy this praise. Awkward journey. On the second day of hiking, it was just the Chinese Lunar New Year. Lal also arranged a hot Nichorian chicken soup dinner, so that we can celebrate the Lunar New Year together with the furnace. On the last day of the hiking trip, we encountered a blizzard. We were quite upset about the lack of experience in the snow, but Lal carefully adjusted the crampons for each of us, and told us not to wear too much. Because the temperature of the snow has not dropped too much, I am afraid that we are too hot to adjust the clothes. Then, the leader took us to the ridge-line of the leeward side to avoid the danger of strong winds, and the snow is lighter and less effortless, so choose a professional and experienced guide to ensure that you are safe and happy. The toll factor of hiking It was really such amazing trek to Mardi Himal Trek with them.. I really recommend the Nepal Intrepid Treks and Expedition team, which will definitely give you a pleasant and safe trip to Nepal. They are really amazing and wonderful team. Thank you all..
